| Box Score 2 ORLANDO, Fla. - Grace College's women's tennis team split its opening two matches in Florida to start their spring-break trip.

The Lancers (10-6) fell 4-3 in a hotly contested contest against Otterbein before bouncing back with a commanding 7-0 victory over Marywood.

Grace dropped the narrow 4-3 match against the Cardinals in the Lancer's Florida opener.

Alejandra Sandoval was a standout. She won at No. 2 singles in three sets, and she also teamed up with Jimena Ramirez to win 6-1 at No. 1 doubles.

In singles' play, Natalie Schoenherr secured a 6-0, 7-5 win at No. 3, and Molli Runestad battled to a three-set win at No. 4 singles.

But Otterbein claimed the doubles' point as well as No. 1, No. 5 and No. 6 singles to clinch the match.

In game two of the trip the Lancers dominated throughout the matchup, including in doubles play winning all three matches.

Sandolval and Brumbaugh (No. 1 doubles) along with Lydia Ruegesgger and Schoenherr (No.2 Doubles) each won the matches 6-2 to clinch the doubles point. Amy Adams and Runestad completed the sweep of doubles action with a 6-1 win.

The Lancers dominance continued into singles play as all six matches went straight sets in the Lancers' favor.

Sandolval won 6-0, 6-1 from the top spot and both Ruegsegger and Schoenherr were flawless, winning both sets without dropping a game. Runestad, Brumbaugh and Adams finished out Grace's victory with straight-set sweeps.

Grace will have three more games in Florida, including a showdown with Mo. 5 Southeastern.
